I am thrilled to be able to announce that Courtney's Impala Legato (left), born Nov. 5th 1995 out of my Courtney's Freckles by NUCH & SUCH Brigadoon Serenade's Legato, owned by Sigrun Wallqvist of Trollhättan, was given on the 19.05.2001 the Titel SVCH (Svenskt Viltsporschampionat - Schwedischer Schweissfährten-Champion).
Impala is living in Sweden since she was 8 month old and is owned by Sigrun Wallqvist of Kennel Brigadoon in Trollhättan, Sweden. Impala passed her Novice Trial on Sunday, 13.05.2001 with highest points and qualified for the Trial in the Open Class to be held on Monday, 14.05.2001. This she finished also with 1:a prize.
She was entered for the next Trial in Open Class on Thursday, 17.05.2001, which again she passed with a 1:a prize as if pulled along on a string. On Saturday 19.05. she entered her third Trial in Open Class which again she passed with a 1:a prize and with Honour Prize. With this prize Impala was awarded the Titel SVCH. One of the judges was Walde Dahlstrand, well known in Sweden.
Of 30 trials this term only 4 HP have been awarded in the district. It amazed us all, had she not had one days training during the 5 years previously to the first Trial in Novice Class on 13.May 2001 and finished all 4 Trials in one week with 1st and Honour Prize. She also had at the time of these Viltsportrials seven week old puppies lying in the nest. She is a natural, that is the only explanation and we are very proud of her.
